Sliding doors open and close large building openings along the facade in a horizontal motion. In case of particularly large and heavy gates, the door can be installed rolling on the floor track to relieve the lintel from the door weight. The advantages are obvious: low air permeability, tightness against air and water, also suitable for high wind loads, robust and mature construction, design can be matched to the facade, smooth running and minimal noise.

Smaller gates can also be designed for manual operation. From a size of 350 sqft. (~35 m2), a BATOR drive is recommended.
